The Benefits of CBD (Infographic)

Cannabidiol or CBD is one of the 100+ products that come from the cannabis plant. It is a non-intoxicating component known for its medicinal and therapeutic values on the human mind and body, and as researchers learn more about its power, this component has come to be widely a used in everything from cheeseburgers to skin lotions.

Here are some of the benefits of CBD.

One of the best-known effects of CBD is the relief it gives from pain and inflammation. Many studies conclusively prove its ability to Pun alleviate pain as it works with the neurotransmitters that cause pain and suppresses them, so people can get quick relief from even
chronic pain.

CBD is a great option for those suffering from epilepsy as it calms the brain area responsible for these seizures. More importantly, research shows that it can also treat complications coming from epilepsy such as neuronal injury and possibly even psychiatric diseases.

It is a boon for people suffering from depression and other anxiety-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more.

Essentially, CBD enhances two important hormones, namely,
serotonergic and glutamate cortisol to relieve depression and other forms of stress or anxiety. It is also known to calm the mind before specific events such as public speaking.

Effective in Type 1 Diabetes Type | diabetes is a condition where your immune system attacks the pancreatic cells, thereby disabling it from producing the necessary insulin. CBD intervenes and suppresses the nerves that attack the pancreatic cells to reduce the possibility of type 1 diabetes.

The above benefits are just the tip of the iceberg and researchers are discovering new benefits every day. It is about time you start trying CBD in your favorite product. The good news is you don’t have to look too far as VIVE CBD sells a whole range of everyday products based on CBD.

What is CBD?

So, what is CBD exactly? We often get lots of questions like how to use CBD and many more around CBD at MONTKUISH, questions like:

What is CBD oil?

What is CBD good for?

What Is CBD Tincture?

What is CBD oil used for?

What is CBD used for?

All these questions can really be summed up into one question.

What is CBD?

Well, we are here to help answer this question.

What is Cannabidiol (CBD)?

CBD or Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring compound found in hemp plants and has many potential therapeutic benefits. CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning it does not induce any feelings of being “high.” Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, compounds derived from hemp plants are legal, and consumers can enjoy the many benefits this natural compound provides. In fact, CBD is one of 113 cannabinoids found in hemp, and research into their many possible uses is ongoing (read on to learn more about what CBD is and how its used!)

Why CBD?

CBD has helped people in many ways both mentally and physically. The powerful combination of CBD and all the other cannabinoids found in hemp, works to give relief to our mind and body. Customers use MONTKUSH to help with sleep, manage stress and reduce inflammation throughout their body. Integrating MONTKUSH CBD into your daily routine can help support a healthy lifestyle.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. As of 2019, clinical research on CBD included studies related to anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.

Cannabinoid Receptors

Our bodies have an Endocannabinoid system that is comprised of three components: receptors, enzymes, and endocannabinoids. These parts function regardless of whether someone uses CBD or not.

There are two main endocannabinoid receptors:

  • CB1 receptors, which are mostly found in the central nervous system
  • CB2 receptors, which are mostly found in your peripheral nervous system, especially immune cells

Researchers believe that CBD does not directly attach itself to the receptor but influences it in some way. Activating these receptors is what allows for many of the health benefits that people associate with the compound.

While the details of how it works with our systems are still being studied , research suggests that CBD can help with pain, nausea, and other symptoms associated with multiple conditions.

CB1 Receptors

Our bodies CB1 Receptors are responsible for our memory, motor skills, stress, and pain perception.

CB2 Receptors

Our bodies CB2 Receptors are responsible for managing inflammation as well as our immune, muscle, and cardiovascular system.

How do you use CBD?

Now on to the next big question: how to use CBD? There are many different methods of CBD dosing. We currently offer sublingual methods via our tincture/CBD oil and ingestible products like our gummies and soft gels. You can also use our tincture/CBD oil topically. See below for more information on how each method works.

What is CBD oil?

Another question we get a lot is what is CBD oil? Our CBD oils can be taken sublingually (under the tongue). This method of taking CBD usually takes 10-15 minutes before you feel the effects. Just drop your dose under your tongue, hold it for 30 seconds and then swallow.

What is a CBD Gummy?

We now offer a broad-spectrum CBD gummy. So, what is a CBD gummy good for? This method of taking CBD usually takes 30-45 minutes before you feel the effects but since they enter your digestive system the effects will last longer. We recommend starting with one gummy to take the edge off during the day and 2 gummies for a great night’s sleep.

What is a CBD Topical?

One of our newest popular products is our CBD body dose. The CBD body dose is meant to be used topically to hydrate skin and offer luxury relief. Our Raw CBDA oil can also be used topically. Using CBD topically can help soothe sore muscles and aches after an intense workout or just general pains. Just put a quarter to half a dropper of 1000mg CBDA raw in your palm then massage into the affected area.

What is CBD and CBD F.A.Q.

What is CBDA?

CBDA is a non-psychoactive compound that serves as a precursor to CBD. More specifically, CBDA is decarboxylated to create CBD, meaning it is heated. This can happen instantly if smoked or vaped, or slowly if the plant material is left to dry in the sun or even at room temperature. Cannabidiolic acid can, therefore, be thought of as raw CBD. CBDA is most often found in the live or raw hemp plants bred for high CBD levels. Cannabidiolic acid is often consumed as CBD, but it can also be beneficial in its raw form. CBDA oil can be consumed or absorbed via tinctures, raw cannabis juice, topical creams, and raw CBDA oil.

Why CBD?

CBD is commonly used to address anxiety, and for patients who suffer through the misery of insomnia, studies suggest that CBD may help with both falling asleep and staying asleep. CBD may offer an option for treating different types of chronic pain. A study from the European Journal of Pain showed, using an animal model, CBD applied on the skin could help lower pain and inflammation due to arthritis. Another study demonstrated the mechanism by which CBD inhibits inflammatory and neuropathic pain, two of the most difficult types of chronic pain to treat. More study in humans is needed in this area to substantiate the claims of CBD proponents about pain control.

What is rosin?

Rosin is a honey/wax-like substance that is the main ingredient in our CBD oils. Rosin carries all the CBD molecules and all the minor cannabinoids and terpenes present in the hemp plant. CBD rosin is the concentrated compound from hemp-extracted using the careful application of pressure and heat to the cured and dried parts of the hemp plant, in our case, the flowers.

How does MONTKUSH produce its CBD oil?

MONTKUSH CBD oils are made in our own processing facility in Vermont. Once the hemp is harvested from our farm, it is sent to be pressed to extract the CBD rosin. The rosin is mixed with organic coconut oil as a carrying oil. You can learn more about the benefits of using coconut oil as a carrier oil here. Once we have mixed the CBD rosin with the coconut oil, we filter it, bottle it, and that’s it!

Where does the CBD come from?

Our CBD comes from Vermont certified organic hemp, grown on our own farm near Plainfield, Vermont. We grow using top quality hemp strains that result in quality full spectrum CBD rosin.

What is a chemical-free (or solventless) extraction method?

Chemical-free extraction involves obtaining CBD rosin from hemp flowers using nothing more than heat and pressure. By exerting more than 30 tons of pressure and low heat, we extract pure CBD rosin from our hemp flower. This leaves us with a purely natural product that keeps intact minor cannabinoids and terpenes alongside high amounts of CBD. All extracted without having to use any chemicals.

How do I take MONTKUSH CBD oil?

You can take our CBD oil sublingual (under your tongue) or add it to your favorite beverage. If you take it sublingually we recommend holding it under your tongue for at least 30 seconds. To learn more about dosing and how much CBD might be right for you click here.

What is the right bottle for me?

The right Milligram(mg) amount depends on what effects you are looking for. Our CBD oil can help manage stress, and inflammation enhances mood, and promote a good night’s sleep. To learn more about what bottle and dose might be right for you should check our Dosing Guide.

What does full spectrum mean?

The term full spectrum means the product contains CBD and other minor cannabinoids and terpenes that, when taken together, work in tandem, providing a more comprehensive effect than just CBD alone.

Why is 3rd party testing important?

It is important to make sure your CBD is 3rd party lab tested. Having CBD 3rd party lab-tested independently verifies the purity quality and amount of CBD present in each bottle of CBD oil. All of our 3rd party lab results can be found here.
