Has anyone else found CBD Oil helpful in being focused/productive?
I can get pretty bad anxiety at times, and my thoughts can be pretty scattered, especially at night when I'm trying to sleep. As many of you well know/have experienced, anxiety can really get in the way of getting things done
A couple of weeks ago I read about gummies called Sunday Scaries that have CBD in them to help people cope with anxiety. I saw a suggestion online to try a tincture first, so I went to my local pharmacy last Friday and found Charlotte's Web. They gave me a sample bottle at first, but after using it for a few days I went back on Monday and bought a full bottle
The first thing I noticed when using it was how much calmer and at peace I felt; my thoughts didn't feel as scattered. As a result of this, I felt like I was able to focus better. For example, I was able to watch a movie at home Saturday night without once looking at my phone, because I didn't feel the need to constantly be stimulated/distracted by new things. And I hate to admit this, but since I've started taking it I've also stopped fiddling with my phone so much in the car (not while I'm driving, but let's say I come to a red light, I would always whip my phone out so I can browse until it's green)
It's helped a ton with my anxiety and focus, but I can't say too much about how it's helped my productivity. Calming my thoughts down definitely helps, but I've been struggling a bit with blocking distracting apps/sites on my phone. When I do block them I'm able to get things done, but I can't say for sure if the CBD Oil actually affects productivity
I've had friends in the past tell me that smoking pot helped them get into a zone and get work done. I've never smoked and don't intend to, but if it's anything similar to what I'm experiencing with the oil then I can see the benefits
Has anyone else tried CBD Oil? What were your experiences with it, and how did it affect your focus/productivity, if at all?
Edit: Also wanted to mention how much this has helped me "not care" in all the right ways. I work at a really rough elementary school as a teacher, and since we've come back from spring break I've just been indifferent to all the petty nonsense that's otherwise bothered me in the past. Even if I find that my productivity isn't really affected by CBD, I at least appreciate it helping me not stress the little things

Best tincture for energy/brain fog?
I've been taking 2-3 drops of CBDistillery's 250mg full spectrum tincture sublingually twice a day for the last few weeks and it's doing absolute wonders for my sleep and anxiety. I'm still struggling with having energy during the day though, and Bluebird's Brainpower blend was discontinued before I could try it. Does anyone have any recommendations for something I could take during the day to boost my energy and/or cognition?
Also just wanted to quickly say thank you to everyone who helps make this board what it is. I've struggled with chronic pain and PTSD/major depression for years but for the first time in a long time I actually have hope for myself, and r/CBD is a gigantic contributor to that. You guys are awesome 🙂
I walk a minimum of five miles a day 4-5 days a week at my job and also have a bad back so finding the time and energy to exercise without overexerting myself has been a huge problem. It's a definite goal of mine though which is why I posted this in the first place. I'll get there one day soon!

Cbd isn't necessarily drowsy. If you are getting a type of relief whether its inflammation related or anxiety, you just fall asleep better.
What dosage are you taking?
I get sleepy after 48 MGs of CBD administered orally (gummies). I can easily fight through it by being physically active.
If I smoke 220 MGs of CBD and CBG Flower Combined (which I do frequently) I not only lose all anxiety but get SUPER sleepy as well (stick to CBD Flower with a Terp profile that mimics Indica, if this is your desired effect). This I cannot fight through, so I do it only at night.
I am an old lady trying to stay out of the medical world as much as possible; so I'm trying CBD for pain, to sleep, and all the other unnamed benefits CBD is supposed to have.
In answer to your question, I take CBD by the drops and it makes me sleepy; THC, which I can buy legally where I live, really fuzzes my brain and I won't take it. I don't want to smoke weed, and I don't know how to vape or if I would even do it.
The more cbd covers your entire system the more energetic you’ll feel, While still sleeping well

I'm not sure about CBD oils that produce this effect, but as someone else stated, there are some great energy capsules out there. Tru Organics Awake tablets contain CBD and small amounts of caffeine.

I'd check for oils that are high in certain terpenes, or that maybe have another oil or ingredient that would help boost energy. There's a brand called CBD Luxe that has a tincture called "be alert" that you could look into?
Otherwise if you're open to other routes of administration, Lazarus Naturals has "energy" capsules, or if you like coffee you could try CBD coffee. I like green roads CBG coffee, it's already the coffee grounds so it's really easy to use, but you could also make your own with a soluble
